2015

Mod describes itselves best like 'more than a work place. It’s a brilliant new way to work on the go.' They have just opened their latest Popup co-workspace. Combined with FRONT, one of San Francisco's finest coffee houses, it seems the perfect hang out to work in. Or even to stay after work.

The furniture products by De Vorm were selected by Jeremy Steward and Lisa Mashima. They teamed up with architect Sam Conkling to identify the most innovative furniture from forward-thinking companies around the globe.

"We are a collective of designers, architects, culinary professionals, technologists and storytellers who are developing a concept for the future of work. Mod is a network of spaces defined by a designed hospitality experience and connected by a proprietary technology platform we've developed."

Attractive and comfortable

Visitors comment that the PET felt chairs and stools are attractive and comfortable. We chose them for their sustainable fabrication and humble, yet elegant style.

Flexible and modular

"The POD chairs are a primary feature on our tour, and our guests are always delighted by their appearance and intrigued by the sound-dampening privacy design. Because we've designed our space to be flexible and modular, we appreciate how lightweight they are to move around. We've also noticed how very comfortable they are and how natural it feels to nestle and sprawl in them."
