For Büffel & Bier restaurant in Stuttgart, Studio Komo has reinvented the concept of pizzeria while paying homage to the traditions. It is calm and inviting, a place where you feel like home.

Despite the modern interior, Büffel & Bier preserves the cosiness of a traditional pizzeria. The 80-square meter room has a well-balanced composition of colours and materials. It is calm and inviting, a place where you feel like home.

Following the concept, a large table welcomes big families to come together for Sunday dinner.  The ceiling also requires special attention – it holds a massive installation made from pizza turners. A subtle reference to Italian cooking tradition.

As restaurants often suffer from excessive noise, the designers took care of acoustics as well. PET Felt panels installed on the walls allow visitors to enjoy their dinner and conversations without any distractions. 

PET Felt wall panels make a perfect match with the dining chairs. Made from the same material, together they give the restaurant its very own, signature image. The two types of chairs, both with and without armrests, are placed in different seating options.
