Contentful, Berlin

For the German office of Contentful, toi toi toi (or T3) created a fun and inclusive work environment. Contentful is a software company with offices in Berlin, Denver and San Francisco. For their new 8,215 sq-m Berlin office, they brought T3 on board.
 

T3 started designing the new office only three months before the pandemic started. So the final result reflects the client’s needs for WFH and hybrid working. The office is set up for flexibility and remote working. The design features, open (and closed) concept work areas, meeting rooms of various sizes, focus areas, quiet space, meditation pods, custom nap pods, workshop room, tea kitchens, event space and 400 sq.m cafe (with terrace).

T3 opted to use sustainable materials for many of the fittings, including biopolymer flooring made from discarded and recycled fishing nets, Mute Fit PET Felt Acoustic Panel, renewable textiles and more. Many of the products present in the space are reused from Contentful’s former Berlin workspace.
