Mute Flow Floating PET Felt Acoustic Panel

Introduction

Mute Flow Floating brings acoustic control to the ceiling plane. This ceiling-suspended panel reduces floor-to-ceiling slap echo in open spaces, using the same distinctive wave pattern as the wall-mounted Mute Flow. Adjust the height, vary the angles, and choose from 11 PET felt colours and custom tube finishes to create hanging installations that absorb sound and define zones within larger interiors.

The wavy surface adds visual rhythm overhead while the porous PET felt material absorbs sound from multiple directions. Suspend the panels at different heights to create layered compositions, or align them in rows for a more structured ceiling treatment. The 3-metre suspension cables allow positioning at virtually any height, making Mute Flow Floating suitable for spaces with high ceilings or double-height atriums.

Mute Flow Floating is made from PET felt, produced from recycled plastic bottles. PET felt technology brings traditional production steps down to a single 3D pressing technique. The material is recycled and recyclable, and the panel is easy to disassemble at end of life for recycling.
