Every LJ 4 seat starts as recycled PET bottles. De Vorm's single-mould pressing technique turns that raw material into a ready-to-assemble form with varying thickness, giving the stool its ergonomic shape and distinctive felt texture. The frame is made from recycled high-strength steel. Both materials are durable and fully recyclable.

LJ 4 is the result of De Vorm's long-standing collaboration with Laurens van Wieringen. Laurens is an Amsterdam-based designer who has run his own studio since 2013. His work spans product and interior design, applying smart solutions and production techniques from different fields to achieve clarity and quality.
