Designed by Süd.Com, the interior for NOON gives alstria's Campus Sternhöhe in Stuttgart a clear, transparent restaurant at its centre. NOON is the shared dining space for the whole campus and its tenants, so it had to work for lunch service, informal meetings and social use across the day. Open sightlines keep the room connected and pull people together, giving it an active but relaxed feel. Süd.Com also handled the wayfinding, so the interior and signage form one consistent identity for the location.
Süd.Com placed PET Felt bar stools at high Big Tables and around standing tables. Hale PET Felt Bar Stools have a curved back and are stackable and easy to move, which keeps these high seating areas quick to clear and reset. LJ 3 PET Felt Bar Stools add a version without a backrest in the same areas. Both use a PET Felt seat that absorbs sound, helping keep noise down in a busy dining space where hard surfaces would otherwise carry every conversation.
At NOON the tables are set at bar height, long tables with stools along the sides. A smart frame lets the Big Modular Tables reach their full length on very few legs, keeping the floor clear underneath. The Lite Modular Tables are a leaner, more compact table for smaller spaces, up to 297 cm on just four legs. Both come in three heights and can be made to any size, shape and finish.
