In Amsterdam’s De 9 Straatjes district, Woodalls Design created a workplace for WeTransfer that brings a remote-first team together in a setting that feels both professional and personal. Spread across five restored townhouses, the interior supports collaboration, creativity and a strong sense of belonging through flexible work zones and homely details.

The layout combines focused work areas with open, shared spaces designed for exchange and interaction. At the heart of the workplace, a café with tiered seating acts as a social anchor, hosting talks, workshops and exhibitions. Reused furniture, layered materials and inviting lighting contribute to an environment that encourages connection, while the residential scale of the townhouses creates a familiar and approachable atmosphere.
Acoustic comfort plays a key role throughout the interior. Mute Flow Floating Lamps in light grey are positioned above shared tables, improving sound quality while adding sculptural presence.
