Introduction

LJ 2 PET Felt Stack Chair is a no-nonsense multi-purpose chair for commercial interiors. Seat and backrest are moulded from PET felt made of recycled plastic bottles, using a smart 3D pressing technique that replaced multiple traditional production steps with one. The high-strength recycled steel frame makes LJ 2 stackable and easy to move around. Available in eleven PET felt colours with full frame customisation, it suits offices, educational spaces, restaurants, and public buildings.

Eleven unique PET felt blends, each with its own texture and depth. Minor colour variations between batches are a natural result of the production process.

Two standard frame colours are available: black (RAL 9011) and white (RAL 9010). Beyond these, specify any RAL colour for the frame, add upholstery, or combine options to match your interior.

The powder-coated steel frame can be finished in any RAL colour. Match it to the PET felt seat or create contrast for a bolder look.

Add upholstery

For extra comfort, add seat upholstery in fabrics from the Kvadrat collection. A practical upgrade for settings where people sit for longer periods.

Material

Made from recycled PET felt

LJ 2's shell is made from PET felt, a durable material produced from recycled plastic bottles. Soft yet strong, with natural sound-dampening properties. De Vorm's single-mould pressing technique shapes the PET felt into a ready-to-assemble form, replacing multiple traditional production steps with one. The result is an ergonomically curved shell with varying thickness and a distinctive felt texture.
